Don't sign up at Virgin active Kingspark

Virgin Active Kingspark has really gone down the toilet. I would rate this club, 1 out of 10 and would never recommend it to anyone. This is what a member will experience when going to train at Kingspark. On entering the men's changing room, you are greeted by a terrible smell, just like a missused public Toilet , then opening the locker to put your bag away and the smell of a week old sweaty gym clothes. Walking upstairs to the workout floor, the workout floor also smells and the airconditioning is not on and the windows are open, allowing the salt air and the polluted city air in. Air Quality today is high at AQI 159 and not recommended to exercise. Also with having the windows open most of the time and with the club being so close to the sea, it's rusting the equipment and the equipment is already in poor shape as it is. Equipment out of order for months at a time before it's repaired and repaired poorly. A lot of the members do not follow the club rules, no sweat towels or wipe the equipment clean after use, so usely full of sweat marks. Not one of the staff members inforce the club rules, members are allowed to do what they want.

I make a big effort to train 5 days a week and today, I walked in and had to walk out not able to train because of this shocking environment. Club manager was sitting in his office on the phone when the workout floor was disgusting hot with poor air quality because of no airconditioning and the windows open. Kingspark is not member focused, it's up to the members to point out these things or any other issues to their workout experience.

Are the staff not trained to ensure that the workout floor is in order for all members to have a great workout experience and that the changing rooms checked frequently for cleanness. Such simple and basic things to do but yet fail. Is the equipment safe to use, especially now that it's rusting at a faster pace because the windows are open frequently!
