Don’t promise what you can’t provide

My 18 year old daughter took out gym memfor her and her brother recently. After back and forth they decided on the best options, and signed up with ***an at Tygervalley branch. They were told after the first month’s successful payment, they would get 3 months free. This never happened. After the first payment, the following one was lower, so she thought it was just her own membership that was free. The calls from account collection started. She emailed, and went into the branch. Calls didn’t stop. Eventually got to see Fabian, who said their was an error, she will be refunded, it is sorted out, and gave 2 extra months free (just for her) and a free session with a personal trainer as compensation. None of this materialises, calls continued, and now even from MBD debt collectors. Are you kidding me? Just wondering, is this not breach of contract from your side? Or does breach only go one way for you? You are *****ing up a child’s credit record and bank score before she even has a chance to finish matric, because there are either ***** or *********** people in positions they should rather not be in. Sort this out. She works hard for her own money and independance while finishing school and trying to do something nice for her brother, AND still saving for varsity. You don’t get to ***** her over like this.
