DO NOT SIGN UP with virgin active greenstone!!!!!

I’m a member of Virgin Active Greenstone branch, my locker in the changing room was broken by someone and my phone was ****** on Saturday morning 29/02/2020. I do have some cash in my shorts pocket, but only my phone is missing, looks like the ***** only wants cellphone and do not have more time to search for more things. There were another 2 gentlemen who locked near me also have their cellphone ****** by this way. We went to Virgin Active Greenstone Branch reception to report this issue, reception said it is not their responsibility of personal belongings, it sounds not friendly but I do understand it must be part of their t’s and c’s. When I asked my son in law to come and find out more as my English is not very good, we were asked to a small room as they do not want others who come to the gym or even want to sign up at the reception hear this story. Then we learnt they were aware of this issue as it did happen a few times during recent weeks. I was shocked! If it did happen why can’t they write a notice to tell/remind all the members, pay more attention to personal belongings as there is someone come to break lockers for cellphones several times these days. As a South African #1 gym brand and Greenstone branch is one of their high end gyms, their reaction and solutions are really disappointing me, when you sign up the membership, everything is YES, when you have a problem, no one can give you a positive answer.
