Dishonest & *********

I joined Virgin Active last year June/July 2023 and signed a 2 year contract with a membership fee of R610 per month, to gym at the Faerie Glen club only. This year June 2024 I received an email to inform me of the yearly increase in fees and my gym fees will now be R650. I have no problem with this. Then in August 2024 without notifying me, my fees went up again to R685,10. In what world is it justifiable or ethical to increase fees 2 consecutive months? (Increase in July 2024 and increase in Aug 2024) I phoned VA yesterday and queried this and the lady tried to convince me that I'm supposed to be paying R760 per month. That is not the deal made with me and I signed my contract based on the R610 offer that was made to me. This is a breach of contract on VA side. I asked for my contract, but this is not being provided to me. Then today I received an SMS "Oops, it seems like there is R120 due on my membership". I phoned VA again. The additional fees are because yesterday I requested to be transferred to Faerie Glen??? Please provide me with the recording of the telephone conversation yesterday where I asked for this as this is absolute nonsense. I am at Faerie Glen, why would I request to be transferred to Faerie Glen??? Virgin Active is clueless, dishonest and definitely not ethical. I no longer wish to do business with a company that operates in this manner. I'm not surprised to see 5 000+ bad reviews of Virgin Active on this platform.
