Disappointed process - Debit order cancelled but still active for multiple months

I tried to cancel my virgin active membership in February 2023 after which the consultant stated that I should cancel with a month notice. Phoned again end of February and was assisted very nicely to stop my membership. However the consensus was that March debit order will go off after which it will stop.

April and May debit orders has gone off and after trying again and holding for almost 20 minutes with no movement in the queue I am disappointed and frustrated and do not know how to proceed.
