Disappointed

Last year around March, I registered to join Virgin Active at K90 East Rand Mall before Covid, the Lockdown was initiated and I didn't go to gym and I was given a temporary access card which I was supposed to pay for and I didn't, the card was never used and was not called to do full membership one, now I'm being told I'm liable to pay a R1000, for a membership I didn't use.
