Disabled Lift not repaired

Due to an operation I am currently on crutches and need to use the Disabled Lift at the Honeydew Virgin Active on a daily basis. Since around 5 March I have complained at least 2 to 3 times per week that the Ground Floor door to this lift does not close fully. To get the lift to operate you must pull the door closed from the inside since the door catches on the floor. The handle for the door on the inside is very difficult to get hold of with your fingers and on crutches it is even more difficult. Many promises of repair have been made and I have even been advised to call somebody from reception to close the door for me. This last advise I find humiliating, time consuming and difficult since I have to walk with crutches to and from reception and wait until they can call for assistance. I do not understand why it is so difficult to repair this lift since any handyman can shave the area where the door catches with an angle grinder. This area is about 1.5cm by 1cm. It is almost inside the doorframe in the corner close to the hinges and you only need to take 1mm off so it will not be visible and it will not cause an obstruction or damage the construction of the lift.
