Debit Order change inconvenience

I've joined the club in Table Bay Mall, March 2019. Everything went well until I requested that my debit order date to be changed to the 15th of each month. Now I'm in arrears and get non-stop phone calls that I must make arrangements to pay the arrears amount to have access to the gym. I said on every call to them that I'm not in arrears that my instruction was just to move the d/o date to the 15th of each month. I explained to them to reconcile the account because on their system it show an arrears amount. It will show an arrears because they raise their statements on the 1st of every month. They don't reconcile properly and just see on the system arrears and start with the endless calls. This is very inconvenient. I am highly considering cancelling my contract with VA and moving to Planet Fitness.
