Oh wow. Virgin Active is absolutely ridiculous. My husband and I are having financial issues and needed to cancel our contract. They refused to be helpful on all levels. Demanding a R6665 cancellation fee. Anyways my husband managed to talk to a manager, wrote a letter explaining the situation and paid one months fee to cancel for each of us. His contract is cancelled but they are still debiting my account for the monthly fee and demanding the 6 grand to cancel. I will never pay it. Don't sign up with them. They are leeches. I highly doubt this kind of disgusting attitude is what Richard Branson built his brand on. .
