Covid rules not adhered to at Virgin Active
On Saturday 20February, 2021, I had a booked a dance class at virgin active century city. The other time I was about 2 minutes late and my spot was given away, but prior to that I had witnessed a spot being reserved for a member who was running while we waited on stand by because myself and another member did no book. Anyway on Saturday I was at the gym 30minues before time and I started with my warm up exercise. At around 5minutes to eight I went up to the studio and choose my sport and continued on the bike outside. I was wondering if the class was cancelled or I had mixed up the times because usually at 5minutes to time a virgin staff member would stand at the door and with a register and tick the names on entrance. At around 2minutes to time the class came from downstairs with the instructor and the virgin active "manager" the same manager who gave my spot away the other time. I went to the virgin active manager and asked her to tick my name. She then asked me what time I came.I told her what time I came and she asked me if I had a spot. I told her I had spot because I was the first one to come into the studio. She then told me the names were check ed already at the reception. She had already given my spot away but this time she could not kick me out and she could not the person she gave the sport. So the class was over ***eded. The person was exercising outside the red box!! Virgin Active Century city can easily break the rules to accommodate click members. The same happenedon Tuesday, 23 Feb at kick class at at 17h00 . The class was over by two people this time. Every time the break the Covid-19 it's worse than before. They think Covid-19 is a joke! There is no Management to complain to. When you ask for a manager, they give you an email address of the person you are complaining about. So unprofessional and *********. Putting such a large population at risk.
