Consultant **** and signed up incorrectly

I spoke to Jade from Virgin Active Sanctuary (Somerset West) and she confirmed that I can sign up with my Momentum in order to get a 25% discount and its a month to month contract. If I cancel I would only be liable for a 1 month installment. I accepted this and I joined.

Now that I want to cancel she's left Virgin active and they telling me its a 1 year contract. I confirmed the month to month with her at several times and even have a Whatsapp about this where she confirmed its month to month. I will be pulling back all my debit orders and if you want to black list me that's your problem. I will defend this as this is really poor customer service and no one cares so far.
