Compulsory for children to join Club-V at Randburg Virgin Active

I signed up for Off Peak membership at the Randburg Club over the phone on Friday, and received great assistance and advice from the consultant on the phone. However, when I attempted to collect the membership card for myself and my two children aged 2 and 7. The receptionist at the Randburg Club insisted that the children both need to sign up for Club-V at R175 per child per month, even though I made it very clear that I am not interested in signing up for Club-B and will not be using it. I was told that minor children cannot become regular members without joining Club-V, and that Club-V is compulsory for all minor children. This does not seem in line with the information that I have. I have since requested that the Randburg Club Manager, Tebogo Moloi, but he has not got back to me. As I will soon reach my five-day free cancelation, I do need the matter resolved urgently. I cannot really believe that Club-V would now be compulsory, but am also uncertain as to why the Club would provide me with incorrect information in this regard. Seems fishy.
