Complete disregard of disabled people

<p>I've laid complaints numerous times with management at Virgin Active Randburg regarding the continued use of the disabled facilities at the club BY THE CLUB STAFF. The justification I was given by the club manager, Mapula, was that the club has no disabled members. I told her my sister, for one, is a national membership holder who is disabled and might make use of the club and this isnt a valid justification. Mapula did not respond to this. Today I noticed another disabled member at the club and decided to bring this to the attention of the manager on duty, Churchill. He asked me why I fight about this and told me that just because a bathroom is intended for disabled people there isn't a reason other people shouldn't use it. This blew my mind and to avoid completely losing it I just walked away. I do not understand, and hugely object to, the fact that someone like this can be left in charge of a club. Were this my business employees would lose their jobs over this, nevermind be put in a managerial position. I felt I should have walked into the girls change room to prove how absurd his logic is. I mean why shouldn't anyone else use a bathroom intended for girls, right? Please contact me with feedback if such a thing can be expected from this company, which I question given my experiences with management.</p>
