Chasing me for money not due to them - Prescribed Act 68 of 1969

Hi I cancelled my Contract , Discovery membership & Vitality in July 2018 I tried to join Virgin Active 29/05/22. I was told that I owe money since 2018, which I need to pay before I can join. I am not or have not been made aware of such debt. Since my contract together with my Discovery medical aid & Vitality was cancelled in July 2018 According to the prescription act 68 of 1969 - this debt that Virgin Active claim that I owe them is now falls under the prescription act. It needs to be written off.
