Charged more than Contract price. Rude, challenging and *********** staff. Facilities not up to standard.

My Son was signed up as member at VA Nelspruit on special discount rate of a bit more than R450pm. When time came up for renewal since he was turning 18 i went to see the branch. Felicia the sales was put onto me and she advised that when the contract was due for renewal she would contact me. After several attempts at getting a response on her proposed "discount deals" she eventually called and advised that the contract price would R910. I asked her for a cheaper package as my Son is schoolgoing. She agreed to a R735 package. I negotiated and she offered a 5% discount form the R735. When the new debit order went off my account for R950 i contacted her. She denied this inspite of me having text messages to the contrary for the most part as some of the negotiations were telephonic. I advised i would taking this further with Attorney and she Invitingly challenged me to do so.

I am appalled at this situation, the manner in which clients are handled and even as much in the actually physical gum where aircons hardly ever work, staff are most impolite and unprofessional. The pool is mostly out of order, ablutions are mostly untidy and messy to name but a few issues.

I myself own a gym and understand the dynamics and difficulties VA may experience. However, taking money for contracts now agreed to is a crime. Not delivering on expectation offered is breach of contract and unprofessionalism and unkept facility spells demise.

I would be watching the premises to move my facility into that space with eagerness.
