Cape Gate has no control and no regard for safety

Virgin Active Cape Gate has no control, and need to work on their customer service. 1- when we were sold the contract we were not given all the information. When we questioned it twice, through different avenues, we were promised a callback, and 3 months later still waiting. 2- there was two Discovery Wellness day's and no communication was sent beforehand. When I questioned it I was referred to Discovery. When I spoke to two managers on two different occasions they brushed it off and blamed Discovery, instead of trying to help their customer. I was in contact with Discovery, and they advise the club neet to communicate. 3- there is at times no staff on the floor, and thus not ensuring safety of it's customers and not assisting their customers. At the circuit there is a notice up, but against a wall behind the equipment, resulting in people not adhering to the 'rules' of the circuit. I made the staff aware of this and they attempted to do something, but it was only done to appease me. In general they do not 'monitor' the circuit and try to educate people around the 'rules. Personal trainers even bring their clients into the circuit area and does not follow the 'rules', and showing it is acceptable. In the weights area downstairs majority of the time there is no staff, and thus no control or assistance. There are notices up no bags allowed, but still people leave bags at equipment. People 'hog' more than one machine, and as there is no staff or control people do not see anything wrong with that. People 'build' their own exercise station, and again as there is no staff present there is nobody to advise them that it is dangerous. the question is, even if there was staff would they have said anything, as there is no control in general. Personal trainers take over the area downstairs, 'hogging' machines to sit on or stand in front, and also for their clients to train on. Personal trainers doing classes in an area that everyone has to walk past or through. As there is no staff on the floor, they are not present to assist any client and also not there to ensure everyone's safety. A couple of years ago the staff was present on the floor, and they would tell people how to do exercises and assist them. The impression I get is that staff is too scared to interact with people, to advise them that they cannot do some things (scared there will be a confrontation), want to be 'pals' with the body builders. 4- the communication at the club is poor. On their schedule it showed a class. However when I got there I was told there is no class as it is a public holiday. There is no communication or any disclaimer or note to state that on public holidays there is no classes. The impression I get is that if I'm not signed up with a personal trainer I won't get much assistance. Staff generally takes direction from the person in charge, and here I have to say it does not indicate anyone is in charge.
