Cant cancel my gym contract - bordering on *********

It is extremely frustrating to get my Virgin Active gym membership cancelled. First their systems are slow and the call takes forever. Second, they cannot find all the family members. Thirdly each family member must call Virgin Active themselves. They also cannot give you anything in writing to confirm cancellation. This really does not make business sense.
