Cant cancel membership. Very bad service. Unsafe

I have been trying to cancel my membership since 2nd October 2020.

The helpline is congested and cuts out automatically. I have used the online contact form on 2nd October in an attempt to cancel my membership, and received an automated response on 8th October, stating that I would get a response within 48 hrs. Nothing happened. Today I received a msg to say that my next debit order will be going off on 31st October. I am unable to go into the VA to cancel . I am in the vulnerable category and I am staying at home. This gym is most unsafe, and they have waived the mask requirement. Which is crazy for an indoor environment.

Thinking my membership will continue beyond the grave.
