CANCELLING A GYM CONTRACT IS IMPOSSIBLE

Ive been trying to cancel my month to month contract with Virgin Active since Im no longer on Discovery Medical Aid & have called & mailed them a few times with no success - they sent an acknowledgement stating resolution will me within 24 hours but to date theres nothing - After Hours Auto Response [Case: Xqc1cJ, Ticket: TIrMYW]

Does anyone know of an alternative cancellation method please?
