Cancellation of membership

So last year I requested to cancel my membership, only to find out a year later it never was and I now owe more than R7000 to these people. I’ve spoken to numerous people and all of them have said they’ll get back to me and more than a month later I still haven’t heard anything back. I’ve phoned so many times over the past month and a half and still nobody has gotten back to me
