Cancellation of membership

My husband and I were involved in a car accident on the 1st March 2015 we were both adnmitted in hospitaal and went through different operations, due to our injuries. Our Doctors recommended that we should not pariticipate in any form of excersises for a certain period. I cancelled my membership without hassles but my husband is told that he should pay R600 despite having proof of medical certificate from the Dr. I'm posting this as I am the one who wass paying for both memberships and I'm concerned why are we not receiving the same treatment from the same company. Is not like we chose to be injured in a car accident.
