breach of contract from Virgin Active

My wife and I left Planet Fitness to join Virgin Active in Key West , the reason was that we paid R350 per person at Planet Fitness and as we belong to discovery Vitality we want to join Virgin Active as their rates will be R137 per person with the vitality benefit , we went to the Gym in April 2019 ,a lady with the name Yvonne did the paper work for us and was told that we will get the month of May and June for free there after we will be charged R 137 per person , this never happened , we were charged R1100 in May , June ,July and August instead of the R137 we were promised , we went to see them at the Gym and was promised that they will refund us the money because it was clearly visible on their system that we will get the months of may and June for free , they still haven't refund us or call us to sort out this problem , we paid half that price at Planet fitness , it does not make any sense to join a gym which is further from our house at double the price , i feel that Virgin Active was in breach of the contract and therefore i would like Virgin Active to refund us and cancel the contract without any obligation. so far we paid R 5500 instead instead of R 440 , this in absurd , i do not want to deal with them anymore.
