blacklisted

hi there I've worked for virgin active little falls for about 6 years ago there was a problem at virgin active and i lost my job virgin active blacklisted me on there system 6 years later i want to join as a member on liberty health they tell me that i m blacklisted and they cannot enroll me as a member my question is i m a paying customer and something that happen 6 years ago should not affect me now in life virgin active management said they will sort it out but its been almost two weeks now and still no word from them is this the kind of service virgin active hand out to customers
