big ******* initiation fee

i was a member of virgin active under discovery vitality i initially paid the initiation fee of R900 for myself and my wife we then moved to momentum medical aid i once again paid the initiation fee i am back on discovery and virgin active is now once again requesting i pay R1500 initiation fee the staff at the vigin active red little falls were very rude and arrogant and unable to assist or even listen to my concern i am aware that the fee can be waived because my friend whom works with me had paid the sales guy at the normal vigin active little falls R100.00 and he got it waived for him i am really unahappy with this because i am not able to afford the R1500.00 at this stage thus the reason i am trying to join virgin red because the fees are reasonable.
