Bad Management at Virgin Active Port Elizabeth

<p>The manager of Virgin Active in Port Elizabeth, Kees Ngqakaza, is arrogant, rude and unprofessional. My 10 year old daughter was using the treadmill at the gym and he just approached me and told her to get off, without even an explanation. My response was "No". He then became offensive. I asked to speak to the manager and he's reply was, in a very bad tone, that he was the manager. Only when my sister asked why she was not allowed did he respond that 14 year olds are not allowed to use the treadmill. This was the first time hearing of this, but he reacted as if this is information we were supposed to know. I mentioned that she just needs to train for an important race coming up, and his response was very arrogantly that she must run outside. I find this behaviour very unprofessional and it gives Virgin Active a bad name. I was clearly not impressed with his behaviour. When I mentioned I was going to complain about him, he said I should go ahead. Clearly he doesn't care about the image of Virgin Active. I only managed to get his first name when we left the gym. I later called back to get his surname. I also mentioned that I was going to cancel my membership, and he's response was this time very politely, "Not a problem". So he surely doesn't keep Virgin Active in high regard, and doesn't care about losing clients.</p>
