BAD COMMUNICATION

Hi,

I transferred my gym memebership from Virgin Active N1 City to Virgin Active Red Parow. Upon the transfer I was informed prior to this that the R140 transfer fee would be waivered. I reiterated it X3 times to different people. When I arrived at the gym, consecutive times it was till not resolved. Today a very friendly team leader Nadia, at the call centre assisted me in removing the transfer fee. Now when I transferred to Parow, it kept denying me access despite having received an access band. For the the 3rd time I tried accessing the gym, it showed a R280 arrears amount of which R140 was for the transfer fee, but that was sorted. I feel as I had paid for a card at N1 City, why should I now have to pay an additonalR140 for the new access band. Whats more is nobody informed me from the get go at Virgin Active Red Parow that I would need to pay that fee. Only when I called the call centre did they tell me about the fee. if they had told me upon my first visit that I would need to pay the R140 I would have. Now I refuse to pay it as this is the 3rd visit already. Everytime it denied me access not one person at the club knew why it was denying me access. Im not very happy about information withheld from me and now my record reflects I am in arrears when in actual fact I am not. This was no fault of mine. So now I refuse to pay that additional R140. If they insist I will rather transfer back to N1 City.

Still no response to my complaint. This should have been adressed urgently. I am a paying customer, but it clearly seems like they are not bothered!
