Bad attitude towards Elderly people at Virgin Active Randburg

My husband and I have been members of this gym for a few years, we play squash on a very regular basis. My parents age 76 and 68 moved to Johannesburg in 2017 and on Sunday,28 January 2018, I took both my elderly parents to the Virgin Active in Randburg to show them where we play squash, how the gum looks, should they want to join and to get something to drink at Kauai. We arrived at reception, I gave my card to enter and then asked the lady at reception, Thuli, if she could please let my parents in I want to take them to Kauai to get something to drink and see the Gym. To my surprize my request was met with the most disrespectful and agitated reply of just a NO. I asked the lady Thuli why not and she just said no they are not members, turned around and proceeded with other work. I again explained to her they are elderly people I would like to take them to Kauai and have them look at the gym and again asked if she please could let them in. Thuli turned around to me looked at me said no, they are not members and proceeded with other work again. I then asked her how are they supposed to see the Gym if they are not allowed in, I also told her that before my husband and I joined the gym a few years ago we could come into the gym and look around and before I could finish my sentence she cut me off and said “Times have changed”, turned around and ignored me. I was so stunned at the answer and attitude; I could not believe what was happening. I then requested to talk to a manager, Thuli did not answer me she turned around and walked away. After standing in reception with my parents for a while another lady approached us with the name Fifie. I explained the same to her and she also answered me very unfriendly with a no, they are not members. At this stage I got annoyed and asked her, if they want to join the gym, how are they supposed to join if they are not allowed to see the gym. She turned around to speak to Thuli in a language I could not understand, then turned back to me and said my parents must sign in. With a very big negative attitude Thuli asked my parents to fill in their details and it took her another 10 minutes to load it on the system. After this big struggle my father was tiered of standing around and very upset about the way we were treated and decided he was not interested in seeing or joining the Gym. A trainer with the name Andile, took my mother and myself into the Gym he should her where the squash courts are and the floor outlay of the gym. Andile also apologised for his colleagues attitude and the way the two ladies addressed us. Andile himself said that he heard how nicely I requested my parents to come into the gym and he himself feels that the two ladies could have addressed us better and with more respect. I cannot believe that someone like Richard Branson, would appreciate that people in a business with his name would treat people the way my parents and myself have been treated. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. Someone should address these two ladies, there mannerism, attitudes and the way the treat other people especially elderly people, it is unacceptable.
