Back to their old tricks

I cancelled through a manager last year as I was so angry at their lies and tricks to get me to join. Now I was convinced by a friend to rejoin. She was with me when I joined again this past Saturday. The trainer who signed me up told me my friend will get R200 as she was my referral. She has been at the gym all morning and they suddenly saying she cant get the money as I didn't pay a cancellation fee (it was waved as they **** to me) and because I was joined last year. Once again they have **** to us and have no clue what they doing. This is the exact reason I cancelled last year. They say the system didn't cancel me. Then I want my R1450 back! What goes on there that there doesn't seem to be one single person at that branch that has half a brain???
