Assault at Virgin active 14th Avenue.

I would just like to display my disatisfaction and great! Disappointment with Virgin active 14th Avenue!

I was in the suna, when i was expecting a phone call from my friend who was meeting me at the gym and was calling to find out if i was there, when i had answered the call and barely said hello i was shouted at by another pathetic rude member who rudely told me to take the call outside. I then didn't continue with the phone call but rather said excuse me as i was unsure if he had spoken to me in the manner that he did, he then repeated that i should get out and take the call outside. When i had told him i would do so if he asked me politely he then continued to be rude.

1stly i cannot understand why he had a problem with this as every other day all members converse freely and talk loudly in the suna!

He then threatened to go to the manager, I then insisted we both go to the manager on duty to report the situation and held the door open for him. He then got up and roughly pushed me ( almost like i had been fisted on my chest!) And then pulled the door closed. I had felt assaulted and extremely upset. This was also very dangerous as the floors were wet and i could have easily slipped and futher injured myself!

Choosing not to react, i then got dressed and went to report this to the reception because i respect my membership with virgin active and have been a member for the last 4 years!

I was then accompanied by the manager on duty to speak to the other member that had assaulted me, when we got there i had asked him why he had beome physical with me? he then turned to me and said " are you hurt, and you in pain, so what! " When i asked him not to talk to me like that he then said " ill talk to you however i want too! "

I was then escorted to the reception for my details to be taken, it has been two day's and i have still not received feedback after i had followed up with the club manager.

My name is Dane Steffensen, And I would like to urge everyone! to please not trust in the management and staff for your safety at Virgin active health clubs! Or expect and urgency in dealing with issues you might be facing as i feel as if this matter was not dealt with seriously.
