I took out a gym contract at virgin active overport .. A month later I had lost my job and then emailed them asking them to cancel my contract as I can no longer afford the installment .. A few months later I get a call from these lawyer people telling me virgin active have handed me over .. I was so shocked because I emailed them asking them to cancel my contract and when I went to them they said they had not received anything.. I still have the email and now they said that there is nothing they can do .. I find it unfair that they handed me over .. Firstly I emailed them and secondly I was not going to the gym .. It is unacceptable!!! They need to sort this out .. I refuse to pay anything since I did ask them to cancel my contract!!
