A Death Trap

Having complained about the lack of attention to Covid-19 regulations at the Virgin Active gym in Tokai during September, I have received at least half a dozen responses from Virgin Active advising me, and I quote verbatim: "We are committed to resolving your query. You can expect a response within 48 to 72 hours, from one of our friendly consultants". I am still waiting. This morning during my visit to this gym, in the weights section, only two of us wore masks. Hand sanitizers at two stations in that section were not provided, equipment sanitizers (green bottles) were available. There were no members of the staff patrolling the section. This gym is a death trap with flagrant disregard for the Government's regulations applicable to this industry. Whilst most businesses suffered during this pandemic, trying to save money by by reduced provision of hand sanitizers is totally unacceptable. I feel the Tokai gym should be temporarily closed till rigid protocols and further staff training are implemented. Covid-19 is a killer, let us not forget that.
