1 star review to Virgin Active South Africa

REF*** "I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Virgin Active South Africa. My minor son had a gym membership (since 2022) with them, which was abruptly canceled twice (4 March 2024 and 14 March 2024) without any prior notice. Firstly, the membership was terminated without warning (claiming he must now rejoin for under 18's), and this week, 19 March 2024 upon pitching for the additional swimming classes paid to Virgin Active, he was denied access. No information was supp**** by the Club as for the cancellation and since the 19 March 2024 VA head office, remains unable to resolve the matter at hand and call center agents keeps stating this matter was escalated with no prove.

This inconsistency and lack of communication are unacceptable, especially considering the additional fees paid for swimming access, paid in advance. Not only have we been left with no access to the gym, but we've also wasted time and money dealing with Virgin Active's incompetence. It's incredibly frustrating and demonstrates a complete disregard for their customers' satisfaction and loyalty.

I would caution anyone considering a membership with Virgin Active South Africa to think twice before committing, as they seem incapable of honoring their agreements and providing adequate customer service."
