VIPphonesclubace ****

I recently came across an adverti*****t in Facebook marketplace for a rugged smar****ch for a very good price. I clicked on it and it took me to the checkout page. It stated the amount for the watch being R135.88. I uploaded my card details and the purchase was announced as being successful. I got a notification from my bank saying that the amount was deducted from my account from the source “viopphonesclubace.com”. 5 minutes later the same amount was deducted from my account from another source called “supremebunch.com” for no apparent reason.

I then enquired and was told that I hadn’t purchased the watch but I have just paid for the subscription service to the website. It looks like it renews its subscription every 3 days. I have now paid R271.66 for just a subscription and no watch.

No where on the page did it state that I was just paying for the subscription to buy products from the website. It made me think I was paying for the product.

This website is a money making con artist by manipulating you, without you knowing, into paying for a subsciption which renews every 3 days. Beware.
