Violet electronics & Sugen's promises

In February I bought a Head light ballast unit from Sugen at Violet electronics (an adaptor unit that cuts into the harness, bypassing the Audi unit). It lasted 6 weeks and died - Cost R2000. I went back to the shop, they had closed and there was a contact number. I contacted him and he said no problem, he will replace but no stock. The next month they are moving shop, then no stock, then grand opening and he will help me or refund me. Now 8 months later he does not bother answering Whatsapps or my calls. He sells sub-standard kit without backup, just puts you off with promises. He is a shyster without remorse, avoid this business at all cost. I have since found an original/genuine unit at Boss Auto Spares in Maraisburg at R1200. Incidentally it fits many Volkswagens (Polo) and many A3, A4 and A5 Audi. Avoid Violet electronics and Sugen
