The Vinyard Facade

So I had decided to go a holiday in Cape Town.The Vineyard yard was nothing short of the perfect place to stay in.

Me and my fellow travel blogger checked in with no problems at all,we were escorted to our room and it was perfect.She walked us through all the the nitty gritty stuff and forgot to tell us the bar was charged at a extra fee.

No worries.We enjoyed the place,until we checked out.While our ubber was waiting we were presented with a extra charge of R3800?? For using the mini bar.”there is a menu with prices.You should have read it”Sade the “manger” said.

So glad we had almost half of the bar with us.We off loaded everything.Paid R800 for a mini bar on top of R5200 for our stay.

Jump in the Uber which was running R200.We done so we thought.on our way Sade calls and says “there is a extra R600 you didn’t pay for the your lunch and drinks at the restaurant and I didn’t calculate R145 that is included field what you used at the bar”...will this nightmare end,I thought to myself.Paid,great we done.

Sade calls again ? “Mrs Sithole you over paid with R200 please send us your banking details and we will refund you”

I did.

A week later I send a email to check if the refund had been processed..

I figure Sade forwarded it Carmenita because she is the one who rep**** “There is a credit balance of R200.00 on the account due to you. Please advise what you would like to do with the amount or would you like us to refund it back to you.“

Nothing was done.??♀️

I rep**** back with”I’d like a refund and I have forwarded my banking details”

A day later I am requested for a letter from my bank to confirm my banking details? a joke.

No.I can not drive to the bank I told them.

The vineyard hotel is beautiful trust me but from the horrible service from the check out,it’s safe to say I will never go back.

They have an amazing facade.
