I am writing this review to make people aware of a website called www.vindocs.co.za. The website claims to provide detailed vehicle information once you punch in the VIN number of a car. The reports are sold as different packages starting from R265 for one report. People must please not waste their money on the website as the reports are only accurate as far as the type and model of the vehicle. The rest is just basic information on servicing the vehicle, etc. People who are in the second-hand car market must never waste their money with Vindocs thinking they will get information about accident history of the vehicle. I have just paid the R265 for a report and punched in the VIN number of my written-off vehicle. To my surprise, the website indicated that there are no accident records for the vehicle yet my vehicle was in an accident and the insurance wrote if off! The rest of the information in that so-called report was just basic checks a car owner has to do as well as service intervals. Please don't waste your money thinking www.vindocs.co.za will give you any information about a second-hand car! It is absolutely useless!
