Vincent Pallotti Emergency Unit Never Again

I rushed my wife to the emergency unit shortly before 11 pm. The service received by Dr Arnold, was pathetic. He is too inexperienced to be running an emergency unit. Shortly after 1 am, we took discharge as the service was poor and we were just non-chalantly told by the doctor, he was awaiting the blood results. We requested to be discharged and left. The Hospital billed us R1690.57 for the brief 2 and half hours we spent in the emergency room. I sent them an email on 14 August 23 requesting an explanation on the huge amount charged but I have still received an explanation. I still had to pay R650 to Morton and Partners for xrays, R1600 to Pathcare for bloods, R800 to Dr Mombasa and Partners. In my opinion Dr Arnold wasted our monies as he never prescribed any medication but simply called to say patient is covid +. I am still awaiting an explanation on the huge fee charged R1690.57 for the two and a half hour visit and the Hospital procedure with regards to Covid 19.
