Very dissatisfied with the service

We booked at Villa Shells with a guy called Michael. So the deposit was fully paid. A day before we could check in we received a call from the lady who was the owner. She said she has taken one room & booked in a couple that was getting married so she said they have fully paid. So before we checked in we went to the venue to make sure that the sleeping arrangements were made mind u we were all from different provinces. We booked the whole venue since we wanted to have our family reunion. So we said to her we don't mind sharing & she said she will want the full amount even though she had taken one room & got fully paid for it. She wanted R13700 which the R1000 deposit was paid for any damages & promised to give it back. But when I sent her the massage to remind her about our deposit she sent us pictures of broken lids & a plastic tub. We had asked her to borrow us a big pot & she said she doesn't have so we went to a shop up the road we bought plastic paper cups & plastic bows to make sure we do not break anything. She refused to pay back our R1000 deposit. Even the place had no hot water only one room. We never penalized her for that. She was there when we left & said nothing she checked everything before we left But came up with the story when she had to pay us the deposit. We were not free she came every 5mins to check on us as if we were small kids. She invade our space. Never book at this venue. Our bed were not changed & used same towels every day. Villa shells is not a place one would wish to go back too Never I will not recommend anyone to go there. She is a ****
