Unprofessional Service

We went to Villa Paradiso to view the venue for our wedding that we planned the next year. The lady that is doing reservations gave us the wedding packages and explained everything etc. We asked her about the date that we wanted and she said that the date wasn't taken yet. So we decided to book the venue on that specific date. I explained to her that our money is in a 32day account, but we can make a plan to pay the deposit immediately if she prefer. She said that we do not have to worry, we only have to sign the contract and our date is secured and booked. After a week that we already signed the contract she send us an Email stating that she gave our date to another couple and they already paid the deposit, and we can take the weekend before or after that date as they were still available. We feel they did not even have the decency to phone and inform us that someone else was interested, or gave us the option to pay the deposit immediately as we would have made a plan. We feel this is very unprofessional.
