Accommodation **** Villa Dos Ameros or The Hout Bay Retreat

On the 20 January 2020 I enquired about a stay at the Villa Dos Amores, we agreed on three nights of which I would make monthly payments. On the 26 January 2020 the Villa stated that, “Failure to pay one month will result in a refund … due too other guest that would be interested in booking.” Monthly instalments were made as per the agreement. Upon the country facing the Covid-19 pandemic, I wrote to the Villa on the 18 March 2020 requesting that they evoke our agreement of a refund because I will not be making anymore deposits.

However we later agreed on a 50% deposit to secure the holiday as the Pendemic was an unforeseen circumstance. The owner Ed requested more money and when I refused to pay he cancelled the accommodation and blocked me from all communication and social media.

I believe that these guys are ******** and I would advise anyone wanting to book accommodation at Villa Dos Ameros or The Hout Bay Retreat to not do it. These people took my money and disappeared.
