Unprofessionalism
Jean-marc Hardy Hi All, I just would like to give you a heads up about, Victory surf and owner Deon Bosman. This is him in a photo working on my newly purchased board. Not only did he give me the wrong spec's as to my requirements, as I realised after speaking to other local shapers, but the workmanship done on the board was shocking as in the photos to follow. I hadn't ridden the board, as it was not to my satisfactory, I then retuned it. He assured me that the money of R4000, would be deposited into my account that afternoon. 2 July 2015. It is now the 20th July and I'm still waiting. Phoning numerous times, I haven't been successful in getting hold of him and his accounts department with every excuse given when spoken to their colleagues. The brand new board had a lose fin on the one side and a ***** sticking out on the other side. Have some pride, and what makes it worse, he helped assemble the board supervising his worker. I have no other choice now as to press charges against him for theft. So sad, as one wanting to get into the water and enjoy the wonderful experience of surfing and it get's ruined by a unprofessionalism. Be advised to stay away from Victory Surf, Umhlanga a
