Had them come to fix my broken fiber line No cabling was run at all , no trenching was done at all only reconnection of the fiber optic cable(splicing). Thru out the job a quotation was asked and never received only when the job was completed I got a final bill At which point I was then forced to pay as work done.

Had I received the a quotation beforehand I would not have accepted it, paid them there call out fee and we would all be happy. The only Quotation that was ever offered by there technician was that for a new Cable run it would cost R50 per meter. If I had taken that option it would add up to R1500 excluding vat. Not sure if that included labor.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that a standard Octotel installation cable included is R1750 And given that it was a Sunday I am more than willing to accept a higher call out fee but this amount of R2700 For labour is nothing short of ******ion.

The team arrived at approximately 12:05 pm Sunday and left at approximately 13.15 pm Sunday. That makes there labour charges +/- R2700 per hour.
