VICTORIAN GUESTHOUSE - FALSE ADVERTISING!

I had a very bad experience at Victorian Guest House in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

Firstly checking in was a mission, they could not find the deposits that we had made to secure our booking and eventually they found it (thank God). Then the next day we were not served breakfast, even though our booking fee included breakfast, they said they did not have electricity and nothing was done to compensate us for the breakfast we did not have, not to mention their breakfast is the same everyday and the portions are so small, my poor husband had to have breakfast elsewhere after eating at the guesthouse. they serve really bad diluted juice to grown adults.

FALSE ADVERTISING--- When you call the guesthouse they tell you that the guesthouse has a pool, THIS IS A LIE. Apparently they have two guesthouses and the other one has a pool and the other one does not have a pool, but they do not mention this to you. After I had paid the booking fee, I called seeking clarity on a few things, a pool being one of them and they told they had a pool. I had already made a booking at the guesthouse, they could have told me that that guesthouse did not have a pool, but they chose to lie and once you at the other guesthouse you cannot access the guesthouse with the pool cause apparently it is more pricier. We ended up having to go to a water park and pay extra for something we thought our booking accommodated. When we called the owner to complain she told us that she had been in an accident, she is stressed and she cannot deal with this currently.

The only thing that is true with this place is the pictures of the rooms they offer. The rest is a lie, the Wifi also does not work.

I was not impressed at all, so was the other couple we traveled with.
