Vic's Trading, Kleinmond

One of the worst, if not THE worst shopping experiences in 40 years!!

Reacted to a Facebook adverti*****t for an electrical oven for sale on Thursday 24 November 2022. Was informed that the business will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, only opening on Monday 28 November 2022. Informed the advertiser that we are definitely taking the product, but live close to 200km from Kleinmond and will thus not be able to be there early. Received the assurance "no problem, we'll keep it for you".

Arrived at Vic's Trading in Kleinmond at 10:30 on Monday. Upon searching all over for somebody to help us we found a "lady" having her breakfast sandwiches in the office. We inquired about the oven and was told that it was sold because "I can't just wait till whatever time for you - I said you must be here early."

In the 1st place we were never told that - and I still have the proof on my phone. In the second place the "lady" didn't even have the manners or decency to swallow her half masticated bread before answering, thereby spewing me with breadcrumbs.

I turned around and walked out.

If Vic's Trading offered the Cullinan Diamond for free, I will not lower myself by darkening their doorstep again. My lasting regret is that I cannot give them a negative rating!!!
