Tickets Not Delivered & Refund Refused

I strongly regret using Viagogo for the Bulls vs All Blacks match on 15 August 2026.

I purchased tickets through Viagogo and paid in full, expecting to receive valid tickets that would allow me to attend the event. Unfortunately, I did not receive usable tickets and was unable to attend the match.

I contacted Viagogo and made several attempts to resolve the issue. I was also directed to links and information that did not resolve the problem.

After the event, I requested a refund. Viagogo has now refused, claiming that the seller required my membership number and that I failed to provide it.

This is something I strongly dispute. If my membership number was genuinely required to complete the transfer, Viagogo should be able to provide clear evidence showing exactly when I was informed of this requirement, how I was contacted, and what opportunity I was given to provide the information before the event.

What is most disappointing is that I paid for tickets but ultimately did not receive a usable product, yet Viagogo is refusing to take responsibility.

My experience has been extremely stressful and has seriously damaged my confidence in the platform. I would strongly recommend that South African customers consider purchasing tickets directly from the official ticket provider or venue rather than taking the risk I took with Viagogo.
