Beware of online purchase of entertainment tickets

I searched the internet for tickets to Il Divo, on Friday 9 November 2018.

What came out on top was www.viagogo.co.za

I bought and paid 2 tickets with my credit card. I received a confirmation sms from my Bank, but the cost had gone up from R650, to R854.50 per ticket.

The tickets "will be available for download, a week before the event". On Thursday 8 November 2018, I used the e-mail link, but could neither download nor print the tickets. However, I made "screen shots" and prints of what I could see.

In the end we were denied access to the event since the "tickets" were invalled.
