Settlement never updated!

I was contacted on the 25 May 2015 by VFV Attorneys acting on behalf of their client I'd gotten into a car accident with, in March. I was given the full amount owing and advised of the 20% discount, if I settled it once off. So I did that, and transferred R5801.40 on the 28 May. I was then assured our business had been concluded and thanked for my cooperation. To my surprise, I then got sms reminders of my monthly installments for VFV every month following that! I then decided, 'enough!', and called that lady who'd handled my case from the beginning as she was very helpful and professional from the on-set. She apologized and assured me they'd look into the matter as they were certain their updates were sent ages ago and couldn't understand why I was getting sms's. I got another sms in September, skipped October and back at it now in November. I'm sick of this. I work for a bank, and if their records can generate such sms's, with Absa being their bank, It would mean I reflect on Absa's database as owing! I PAID YOU UPFRONT, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?
