Why is my visa renewal application still pending after 6 months - still no outcome

I am married to a South African citizen and in Sept 2019 submitted a Spouse Visa Renewal 11.6. This means that there has been no change in conditions since my previous visa. My visa expired on the 03 Nov 2019, and after regular follow up with VFS Cape Town with Bruce and recently Werner, and also calls to the DHA there is still no feedback at all. I have been assured that it has been escalated but there is no evidence at how this is done. I need urgent help
