Waiting time too long - insufficient information given.

Firstly - The website does not give sufficient information on the requirements of documents needed for a Schengen Visa Application, which is where all the trouble started.

I made the required appointment to do my application for a Schengen Visa at the Rivonia Blvd VFS office. The agent that dealt with me informed me that I needed several documents and that I should come back.

On my second appointment - I arrived in time for the slot I had booked at 08h30 and was only seen to 45 mins later. Where I was told by a new agent that 2 other documents were required, but if I come back the same day, I don't need to make a new appointment. So I rush out and gather what I need and come back within 30mins.

It then becomes apparent that I will not be helped until every other appointment has been seen to.

I spent 4 hrs at the VFS office and left eventually without processing my application as I couldn't wait any longer. I am now going directly to the relevent Embassy to file my appliation as I simply CANNOT go back to look at the sour faces at VFS Rivonia.

This is unacceptable for an agency that takes appointments. As Well as unacceptable for a Global organisation to not specify the detailed requirements of the applications.
