WAITING.... 14 months

I have been waiting for a result of my application since 27/11/2014. Reading through this site has shown me that some ppl have been waiting even longer! That's the context, because isolation distorts perspective. I was happy when DHA outsourced this process to vfs at the beginning. Now, I believe both are inept, ***********, arrogant and exploitative. Read thru complaints on this platform if u want to know why I say so! The only difference is that DHA is a govt dept and one does not expect any better! Vfs is a private entity driven by a profit motive... one expects better!! I wonder what vfs thinks about an online petition called #vfsmustfall! Probably not much thought....! The interesting context is that majority of vfs clients are foreign nationals. Many of them in vulnerable situations of being harrased by the cops, employers, etc. Maybe that's the reason why the service rendered by vfs and DHA is so inhuman? The measure of a country's humanity is how its office bearers treat foreigners. Personally, I have moved beyond a state of frustration due to waiting in a vacuum.
